Fact: Leopards are powerful animals. In one horizontal leap, they can reach over 20 feet (6.1 meters), and a vertical leap can reach 10 feet (3 meters).

Fact: Leopards are mostly quiet animals, but their most common noise is a rasping cough. Leopards repeat these coughs, waiting to see if they receive an answering cough that signals the presence of another leopard.
